GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING SPECIALIST
JKA is seeking an experienced government contracting specialist. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with the administration and management of our GSA Schedules and Business Certifications for our diverse portfolio of clients. The role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and training staff on contracts policies and procedures, assessing contract compliance, drafting agreements, and developing inputs for business or cost proposals. We are actively looking for candidates with 4-10 years of experience with government contracts (and associated GSA Schedules/and other contract vehicles). Certification and/or College Degree is highly preferred. Essential skills/experience include a strong familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations, strong communication skills, command of MS Office and document preparation (Adobe Acrobat would be preferred), and the ability to meet deadlines/organizational skills.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
This employee must be a multi tasker, able to meet deadlines and be very detail oriented as you will be involved in all aspects of the business. This person must have excellent administrative experience and support the company in various areas from AP/AR to working as a personal assistant to the owner. Prior administrative experience is a must along with strong command of MS Office. This position is based in Connecticut.

The meeting with Supplier Diversity Management was a huge success; resulting in follow-ups with Strategic Sourcing in the areas of Facilities Management, Healthcare, and Training & HR Compliance.
